This is a video editing technique I' have been playing around with. One video is used as a stencil by making it only 6 solid colors. Each color is then keyed out (individually into separate videos) so that a separate video layered behind it can be seen while all other colors are made white. Once this is done there are six separate videos that all fit together like a puzzle. These are then all made layers of a single video that blends them all together. This video is my first test to see how it... ( 1 reviews ) Topics: stencil, video, brendan, brendan dawson, dawson, experimental video, video editing, layers

For this fashion show we decided to do a full length video as the event had so much good footage. We have the runway show, interviews with the Cash family, an interview with Allie Grant from the hit show 'Weeds', an interview with Manuel, an interview with the founder of A Vintage Affair and the event organizers. This fashion show was a major success with only standing room remaining for the last few ticket sales. It was an event that mixed great and timeless music with some amazing fashions.... ( 1 reviews )
This work starts from two improvisation sessions recorded in the first part of 2009 and then edited on the computer in spring 2010. Using the metaphor of "habitat" to give the title to this album comes from the desire to imagine the sound space as a dimension in which the musical processes are ideally considered at the same strength of the typical developing and connection processes in nature. For this reason every piece has to be seen as close in itself, as a specific habitat, but at... ( 1 reviews ) Topics: Electronic, Acoustic, Ambient, Indietronica, improvisation
